the lyon's show.

Netflix - You're a lifesaver. We are finally catching up to the rest of the world on Breaking Bad, Revenge & Walking Dead. Downton Abbey, your next.

Job hunt - I'm a job whore. There, I said it. I've had 7 different jobs in the last 7 years. This is not a proud moment for me. I just can't find something I love doing. Or maybe I just don't enjoy working at all & what I really want is to be a stay-at-home mom. Yep, I'm bitter. Anyways, I'm on the hunt again because my job is only part time & we want to be making more caaaaash money. (sorry, i just wanted to use that phrase)

Saving - We've had some really fun family drama the last few years so I'm ready to be out of my parent's house. (we live in their second home; they live in AZ) It's complicated. Anyways, It's been great to live in a nice home as a young couple, but it's not worth dealing with the drama. So our goal is to save enough money to buy our own house by the end of this year. We're ambitious.

Primary - We just got assigned to teach the 10 year old Sunday school class together. It's great. The kids are hilarious & turn my frown upside down.

Paleo - Benton is really into the Paleo diet right now. I'd like to be, but I have a little problem called, carb addiction.

  1. I hope you find a job...and a house soon! I completely agree, saving money is great. And I totally love family. But having your own place is just...worth it.

And you don't even need a diet, so who cares.

  7. One, no idea how people do those crazy diets. It seems like whenever I try that's when a neighbor drops by with a ton of cookies or something. And two, I'm horrible when it comes to jobs also. I get so bored with them all. Good thing all my contracts with schools are only for a year then I can change.
